Paper vs. Metal or Scissors Cuts Paper?

As fewer and fewer people have confidence in paper as a store of value, the price of gold will continue to rise.

Jerome F. Smith

Mr Smith is not the only one to be concerned about the economy and what the future holds.  Paper money is historically worth only what the metal backing it is worth and since the US long ago went off the gold standard for our currency........well, you make up your own mind.

One thing we do know is that gold always holds a value and numismatic gold coins are even better as the rarity of the mintage and the condition of the coin can make it worth far more than just the weight of it.
Consider gold and silver numismatic coins next time you are looking to invest, they may be just the thing you need.
